It's rather surprising that in a movie repeatedly enforcing the importance of family-as Ellie desperately tries to make sure her adopted brothers are safe-her and Manny's own daughter is never even discussed. Along with Peaches, other missing characters include Scrat, Julian, Shira, and Brooke. Since it's a spin-off, the leads of the main Ice Age films (Manny, Ellie, Sid, and Diego) only return as supporting characters in T he Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild as they search for wherever Crash and Eddie have gone.
